Our director line : the quality

Guided by tradition, the estate's philosophy is clear : creating fine wines involves producing grapes of an impeccable quality, followed by wine-making that respects this potential.

More than any other type of wine, Alsace wine is the direct product of fermented grape juice. Aging in barrels or blending different grape varieties are not widespread wine-making practices in the region: the initial quality of the harvest therefore dictates the quality of the wine.

This is why the way the vines are grown plays a crucial role, paving the way towards high-quality wine. We devote the majority of our time and energy to vine-growing.
